The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on Thursday debunked a viral message via social media platforms of an aptitude test on January 8. This was contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson for the Corps, Olusola Odumosu.
The corps described the message as “fake, misleading and a calculated attempt by fraudsters and cyber criminals to take advantage of recruitment process”.

NSCDC warned the public not to fall prey to job scammers, enjoining job seekers to remain calm and patient for authentic updates and information on the recruitment process.
The statement read, “The attention of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has been drawn to an erroneously crafted message to applicants about the recently advertised NSCDC 2022 recruitment exercise circulating in the media, various social media platforms and WhatsApp groups.
