In a historic  achievement, Nigerian model Nwajagu Samuel has made his mark as the first African and Nigerian to win the prestigious Mister International title. 

Samuel triumphed at the 16th Mister International pageant, which took place on December 14, 2024, at the Island Hall, Fashion Island in Bangkok, Thailand. Facing off against 46 contestants from around the world, Samuel’s outstanding performance earned him the coveted crown.  

The victory was especially significant as it marks a milestone in the pageant's history, with Samuel becoming the first African to win the title. He was crowned by his predecessor, Kim Thitisan Goodburn of Thailand. Mister International is considered one of the top two international male beauty pageants, offering a global stage for exceptional talents. Samuel’s win underscores Nigeria’s rising prominence in the global pageantry scene.
