Slain, injured police officers’ families get N13bn cheques

The Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has presented insurance cheques worth N13 billion to injured police officers and families of officers killed in service between 2012 and 2021.

This was revealed at a press conference at the Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja on Thursday.

According to the IGP, over 6,000 families are expected to benefit from the insurance cheques.
