Stakeholders have recognized gender-based violence, early marriage, environmental issues, terrorism, and banditry as obstacles that impede the education of girls.

In Minna, a one-day awareness campaign was organized by Esteemhub International in collaboration with Accel Project International, the International Labour Organisation (ILO), and the Niger State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development. The campaign was funded by the Netherlands.

Princess Doosugh Agbadu, the Executive Director of Esteemhub International, stated that the purpose of the gathering was to generate sustainable solutions. She also mentioned that 50 girls from different parts of the state were selected to participate in the event.
