Rotimax Pest Control Training Academy recently celebrated its remarkable 10th anniversary and graduation ceremony at the prestigious Stadplus Event Center in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. The event not only commemorated a decade of excellence in pest control training but also recognized outstanding contributors to the industry and certified 40 graduands, fostering a culture of professionalism.

The celebration, held on November 11, 2023, was a momentous occasion that brought together key figures in the pest control profession and industry. The ceremony featured the presentation of awards to individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth and development of the profession. Notably, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, General Manager of Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), P.C.O Kunle Williams, President of Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN), and Dr. (San.) Yakubu Baba, EHCON Registrar, was among the recipients of the prestigious awards. Elder Ayo Ogunyadeka, the immediate past president of PECAN, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event.

The Cultural dancers added a vibrant touch to the celebration with a superb performance, captivating the audience. Representatives from the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN), PECAN, and LASEPA conveyed goodwill messages, emphasizing the importance of the pest control industry in maintaining environmental health.

A total of twenty awards were presented to dignitaries, recognizing their outstanding contributions to the industry. Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, P.C.O Kunle Williams, and Dr. (San.) Yakubu Baba were among the notable recipients. In addition, special recognition was given to the academy's staff of the decade, Mr. John Adekoya and Mrs. Damilola Arobani-Arowojolu, who each received an award and a Hair Thermocool Freezer.

The celebration was not only about recognizing external contributors but also acknowledging the dedication of Rotimax Pest Control Academy's staff. Other staff members received awards of appreciation for their valuable contributions to the academy's success. The anniversary event culminated in a joyous atmosphere, uniting a community of supporters to celebrate achievements, reflect on the academy's journey, and look forward to a promising future. The festivities concluded with the cutting of the anniversary cake by the academy staff, symbolizing a sweet decade of success and growth for Rotimax Pest Control Training Academy.
