Following a recent attack on the Kajuru-Station community in Kaduna State's Kajuru Local Government Area, terrorists seized 87 individuals on Sunday night. Harisu Dari, a member of Kajuru-Station Youths, verified the occurrence on Monday in Kaduna, revealing that the attackers also looted shops, taking food items and other valuables. The invasion occurred around 10 pm.
Just two days prior, 15 women and a man were kidnapped in the Dogon-Noma community within the same local government area. Over the past two weeks, Kajuru and Chikun Local Government Areas have emerged as kidnapping hotspots, heightening anxiety throughout the state.
Within a span of two weeks, the terrorists abducted more than 172 villagers. Despite attempts to reach out, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, did not respond to calls or a text message at the time this report was filed.
