How do you stop an unwanted visitor from being in your house? You stop them from getting in!

Well, you can kick them out after they get in, but we both know which is easier.

Prevention is key to Successful Cockroach control. Preventive measures will limit Cockroach invasion of your building.

Unfortunately, cockroaches are worse than unwanted guests. They don't come to visit, they come to stay.

And while you do your family planning and birth control, they have no restriction, no precaution.

They simply don't care and before you know it, you're not competing anymore. I mean... there's no competition- they own the house and you pay the rent.

You might not approve of that so, here's good news- You can prevent Cockroaches.

HOW?

1. Seal the entrances.

Cockroaches like a warm, moist environment. So when the heat is out against them, they try to get indoors.

They do so through cracks, leaks and crevices in the doors, windows, walls and behind toilets.

You can prevent them from getting in in the first place by closing gaps around windows and doors and sealing cracks.

2. Dry up moist areas.

Check out for leaking pipes and fix them. Also, ensure wet surfaces are dried up.

Dry your washed dishes before keeping them in the rack, dry under the your sink.

3. Mind your Kitchen:

This point!
It's easy for your kitchen to become their favorite place if you don't do this.

Cover your pots and pans that contain food with the appropriate lids. Don't leave a spoon sticking out of your covered pot. It's only half covered that way!

Avoid leaving dirty dishes in the sink overnight, Wash all. As you do that, make sure you're not leaving that grain of rice in the sink. Get rid of all food particles in the sink.

Don't just keep food in the fridge, cover them well.

4. Clean and keep at it:
I might sound like your mother but, Clean up!

Clean up crumbs of snacks your toddler got on the floor, clean your microwave and oven after use, take out the trash before it spills over.

5Declutter:
Removing clutter in your house will limit the number of places cockroaches can hide.

Stacks of old newspapers and magazines, cartons of consumed beer and beverages, etc should be removed.

As long as you keep a condusive place for cockroaches, they will come and with relatives.
