Industry Excellence Recognized at PestWorld 2023 Awards Ceremony

In a recent event at PestWorld 2023 in Honolulu, the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) celebrated industry leaders by presenting a series of notable awards during their Thursday general session.

One of the highlights was the ACE Professional Award, presented by the Entomological Society of America, which was bestowed upon Randy McCarty from ABC Home & Commercial Services in Lewisville, Texas.

AJ Treleven from Sprague Pest Solutions was honored with the Emerging Leaders Award, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the association and the pest management profession, showcasing the potential for future leadership and continued service.

Pest Management Systems, Inc. (PMI) in Greensboro, NC, received the NPMA Gives Award, recognizing their commitment to community leadership and contributions. This award is sponsored by WorkWave.

The Committee of the Year Award went to the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) Task Force, while Joel Nolasco of NuBorn Pest Control received the Committee Chair of the Year Award for his work as the chair of the Diversity Council.

Judy Dold of Rose Pest Solutions was presented with the Women of Excellence Award, recognizing her outstanding leadership and significant contributions to the development and advancement of women within the pest management industry.

The prestigious Pinnacle Award was conferred upon Larry and Alfie Treleven of Sprague Pest Solutions, honoring an individual whose lifetime or career contributions have not only benefited the NPMA but the entire pest management industry.
